Bio-CNG is the purified form of biogas where all the unwanted gases are removed to produce >95% pure methane gas. Bio-CNG is exactly similar to the commercially available natural gas (CV: ~52000 KJ/Kg) in its composition and energy potential.
Bio-CNG run vehicles have lower maintenance costs than other hydrocarbon-fuel powered vehicles. It is less polluting and more efficient than hydrocarbon-fuel powered vehicles.
CO2 is recovered from the biogas and compressed and is used in various applications.
CO2 is used as a raw material in the chemical process industry, especially for urea and methanol production. In metal industry it is used in the manufacture of casting influences so as to enhance their hardness.
In beverage industry CO2 is used to make carbonated soft drinks and soda water. CO2 is used in fire extinguishers. In medical application, up to 5% CO2 is added to pure oxygen. This helps in provoking breathing and to stabilize the O2 / CO2 balance in blood.
Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) is shredded to desired size and fed to the gasifier as an infeed. It can also be baled and sold as fuel.
Bio-fertilizer is the decomposed organic matter from the digestate after the Anaerobic Digestion. Bio-fertilizer is a key ingredient in farming, used for soil amendment. Bio-fertilizer is environmental friendly and natural.
Liquid Digestate is the residual water remaining after the Anaerobic Digestion process. This could be further treated and used for the vegetation purposes.
